NOTRE MISSION
Our story
Our names are Inès and Jade, and we're talking to you today because we've experienced a problem that far too many women know about... but that no one really talks about.
We're both HEC graduates. We both graduated from HEC. We worked in demanding environments, in agencies, in consulting, in fashion. And despite our differences, we had one thing in common: our days were long, often unpredictable, and all it took was the unexpected weather or a last-minute appointment to ruin our hairstyles.
The most frustrating thing was that we did everything right. The most frustrating thing was that we did everything right. We invested in good straighteners, we followed our hair routines to the letter... but as soon as we left the house, everything became complicated.
The click
One day we looked at each other laughing - hair in a tangle, in the back of an Uber, on our way to a business event - and said:
‘But why hasn't anyone invented a straightener that's really designed for us working women? Something beautiful, lightweight, cordless, that you can slip into a bag and use anywhere, no plugs, no stress.’
That's how the idea of MIRALISS came about.
The birth of Miraliss
We weren't engineers, but we had a vision.
So we surrounded ourselves with people. We spent months meeting manufacturers, testing materials and learning how a good heating system worked. We questioned everything: design, size, safety, autonomy...
We wanted a tool that would heat quickly, protect the hair and, above all, fit into real life.
Not a gadget, but a real solution.
Months of testing, doubts... and progress
The first prototypes were far from perfect.
Too heavy, not powerful enough, battery too short... But at every stage, we listened to feedback.
We tested GlowStyler on all hair types: curly, straight, thick, fine... We interviewed hairdressers, travellers, busy mums and women who didn't have a minute to themselves in the morning.
Little by little, we found the right balance: ceramic plates infused with tourmaline, fast and even heating, and autonomy designed for real days out.
The launch
We launched MIRALISS with a bit of stress and a lot of hope.
We didn't know whether people would understand our approach. But we were deeply moved by what happened.
The first customers wrote to us with incredible messages.
They told us that they finally felt free, that their confidence had returned, that they could now do their hair on a train, in a car, in the toilets of a smart restaurant, without feeling judged, without sacrificing their style.
That's when we realised that we'd created more than a straightener.
That's when we realised that we'd created more than just a hair straightener. We'd brought to market a hair freedom, a confidence-booster, a little confidence boost in the palm of your hand.
Today
MIRALISS is our response to a frustration that we've accepted for too long.
It's also our way of proving that you can innovate with meaning, with experience, without necessarily coming from tech or industry.
We're continuing to grow, thanks to you. Thanks to all those who, like us, have had enough of choosing between mobility and style.
